Aside from wanting to draw one of my favorite characters in all of animation, I decided to draw Coraline today to focus on my skeleton and preliminary sketch. It makes a difference. I wanted it to stand out to remind myself that, yes, I do need a preliminary skeleton to get body proportions correct.
