Jamie-boy, a Short Story
This week in On Wednesdays, We Write Fiction, I revisited one of my favorite unpublished short stories. The original form of Jamie-boy was at that perfectly awkward length too be both too long and too short for most horror journals/magazines to want to publish. It was too dark swing it to sci-fi/fantasy publications and, frankly, to critical of Lovecraft by design to sit well with a lot of editors back in 2005.
This new version is undoubtedly a better story and my favorite entry so far in this series. So go ahead. Enjoy a horror story. Jamie did.
All credit goes to me: writing, narrating, editing, and scoring.
