It's not really a moment of narcissism. I haven't tried a self portrait since elementary school when the teacher told me not to bother pursuing the arts since I had no talent for them. Years of performing across the country as a musician, hundreds of stage shows, over a decade of professional writing experience, and plenty of success selling ceramics at art and craft shows later, here we are. Rather like this piece.
