I started reading Gail Simone's run of Birds of Prey and felt inspired to draw Oracle, perhaps my favorite DC superhero. Her powers are being smarter than anyone else in Gotham, gathering intelligence for all the other superheroes who need it, and knocking out bad guys with upper body strength alone. Oracle is Barbara Gordon after the Joker paralyzed her in The Killing Joke. The origins are dark but her most recent incarnation (and possible inclusion in the upcoming live-action Teen Titans series) are a much more positive take on the character.
