Whoops. Turns out it's a leap year. That's 366 days of drawing. Today's is definitely mixed media. I started with a flowy watercolor background on 7x10 mixed media paper. Then I drew the monster on a scrap of white card stock with ink, marker, and colored pencil. I cut it out and glued it to the background. Then I started sketching in background and foreground shapes with compressed charcoal. I added in shade and variety with colored pencil and built the scene.
