Ok, so it's really happening now. Production is on for the new season of Twin Peaks. David Lynch is on board. Much of the original cast is returning. Amanda Seyfried is joining in a pivotal role (Veronica Mars, anyone? She was the murder victim who appeared in flashbacks ala Laura Palmer on Twin Peaks). Is there new footage or anything that shows off what's in store for the return of the greatest horror/crime series ever? Of course not. That's not how Lynch works.
Instead, the season premiere of Homeland had a 15 second teaser using footage from the original series. The only new content was the Showtime logo at the end. That's good enough for me. Dancing Michael J. Anderson is the best Michael J. Anderson.
All we know about the release is 2016, maybe. Could easily get pushed back to 2017. We don't know. All I know for sure is that I'll be watching.
