Can you believe the Academy Awards are finally happening on Sunday? We're almost a quarter of the way into the new year and we get to find out what Hollywood thinks the best films of the 2013 are.
We're keeping it simple at Sketchy Details this year. Who will win? Who should win? And who did they miss? I will, for fairness sake, remove films from consideration that did not qualify for the Academy Awards. Just assume American Mary would be on more "Missed" lists than nots had it been eligible.

Makeup and Hairstyling
Will Win: Adruitha Lee and Robin Mathews, Dallas Buyers Club Should Win: Stephen Prouty, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (you can't clock that old age makeup, better than The Iron Lady, that's for sure) Missed: Tie: American Hustle and Warm Bodies got passed over, with Warm Bodies not even making the bake off.
Foreign Language Film
Will Win: Denmark, The Hunt Should Win: Cambodia, The Missing Picture Missed: The Grandmaster snuck in for Costume Design and Cinematography, but not Foreign Language Film.

Will Win: Alfonso Cuarón and Mark Sanger, Gravity Should Win: Christopher Rouse, Captain Phillips Missed: Bless her heart, Thelma Schoonmaker cut out hours from The Wolf of Wall Street so people wouldn't die while watching the film.
