Animated Horror from Around the World @ ConnectiCon

I am very excited to announce that my brand new panel, Animated Horror from Around the World, will be debuting at ConnectiCon next month. This is an idea I've been developing for years and it's finally going to happen. Here's the full description:

While many view animation as a medium just for children, true horror fans know how disturbing animated stories can be. Artists from all around the world have dabbled in creating nightmares from whole cloth to terrify an audience. From early Mickey Mouse shorts in the 1930s to the masters of brutal anime today, horror and animation have a long history that cannot be pulled apart. Join us for a global look at some of the best and worst animated horror films and shows of all time. We'll be traveling through Japan, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, the United States, and beyond to dig up handcrafted horror from nearly a century of of horror cinema and television.

I submitted it as an 18+ panel but that's not indicated on the event schedule yet. Right now, it's in panel room 3 (450 seats!!!) on July 11 from 7:40 to 8:40 PM. Hope to see you there.
